  7. Two versions of each user manual are provided for you to print
  8. out and use as required. They are virtually identical to the
  9. multi-tasking help manuals, with certain omisions as described
  10. in section 1.

  12.  -1- Text (FrenchText / GermanText): 
  13. a text file version, formatted by Tony Houghton's
  14. excellent !FormText. It's justified, word-wrapped, split into pages
  15. (12 of them) and includes a contents page. Just drag to a printer driver.

  17.  -2- !VMFrench/!VMGerman - these are Impression Publisher files, producing
  18. a rather stylish A5 booklet. The settings are a little complicated, but
  19. these work:

  21.       -On the main print dialogue box, set Fit Lots to on and print
  22.        Sideways.
  23.       -Open the Print Setup box and select Pamphet and Two. If you're
  24.        using a printer that is anything like my Canon BJ200, you'll
  25.        need to select Reverse as well.
  26.       -Select Print; the first side of the paper will be printed (6
  27.        sheets).
  28.       -Now turn over the paper, and align it so that the reverse side
  29.        of the front cover will go into the printer SECOND (ie last pg
  30.        is printed first).
  31.       -Collect the finished product and fold in the middle. Et voilà!

  33. SCHOOLS: I am willing to prepare a STUDENTS' USER GUIDE - a cut down
  34. version, without the instructions on editing VerbFiles and using the
  35. config. options. I will also ensure that the phrasing is appropraite
  36. for a school environment. If you are interested, please get in touch.
  37. (There could also be a combined French and German manual, if there is
  38. any demand for it.)
